Pure Veteran Mix is specially formulated for older horses, containing everything they need in one bag. With soft, easy-to-chew chop and increased levels of vitamins, minerals, and protein to support an older horse’s changing needs.

Description
Pure Veteran Mix is designed for senior horses that need extra support maintaining condition or are still in regular work. It provides a ration of slow-release calories to help maintain weight or fuel their work. Older horses generally have a higher requirement for vitamins and minerals due to decreased efficiency of absorption in their gut. Therefore, Pure Veteran Mix contains elevated levels of vitamins and minerals to help with this. With easily digestible protein sources, it helps support muscle tone and topline. Low in sugar and starch, Pure Veteran Mix is also ideal for horses that have had laminitis or need a low-sugar, low-starch diet.
If your veteran horse also struggles to chew chaff, but doesn't need a pelleted feed just yet - don't worry! Pure Veteran Mix uses a soft chop, making it easier for older horses to chew. With a built-in balancer tailored for senior horses, this feed contains everything your horse needs, making it simple to buy, easy to feed, and excellent value.

💡 Why not Pure Performance? While it contains oats for controlled energy, it`s carefully balanced with added fibre, prebiotics, and probiotics for gut support – but it`s not our top choice for horses prone to ulcers.
